🧸 Buying as a Gift? Here’s What to Choose
Not sure whether to buy Newborn or 0–3 months? You're not alone — it's one of the most common questions gift-buyers ask.
The short answer: go for 0–3 months.
Here's why:
- Brand fit varies. Baby clothing sizes aren't standardised across brands — a "Newborn" from one label can fit very differently to another. At AdoraBaby, our sizing follows standard UK guidelines, but as a rule, babies grow into clothes faster than you'd expect.
- When you're unsure of the baby's size, 0–3 months gives the most useful window. Most full-term babies wear it from birth, and it lasts longer than the newborn size — so there's far less risk of gifting something already outgrown.
- Sizing up is always the safer gift. A slightly larger outfit can be grown into; one that's too small can't be worn at all.
